Over twenty-five years of varied experience in the design and development of projects have given me a unique perspective on managing projects. I believe every team member brings value to the project and deserves respect for their unique knowledge. I have always maintained excellent relationships with clients, contractors and consultants through solid communication and setting expectations.
My experience ranges from master facility plans, to renovations, to multi-million dollar replacement facilities. These projects typically include extensive planning, phasing, and communication in order to ensure projects stay on schedule and budget. My communication skills, organizational skills and attention to detail keep projects on track.
Architectural Design & Development LLC (2009 – Present)
Founding principal who established Architectural Design & Development LLC in response to clients’ desire to have integrated design and program management. The integration shifts the emphasis from "a building project" to the creation of a business asset that impacts the bottom line. Decisions based solely on aesthetics or initial costs can adversely affect the long term efficiency and function of a facility.
The philosophy of "on time and on budget" is no longer enough to make a successful project. In today's competitive world, return on investment is a major factor for a business’ success. Since every decision made in a project's development will impact other building systems, all decisions should be made with the "big picture" in mind and with the entire team's input.
This process takes a great deal of planning and communication with extensive attention to detail and documentation. The focus of Architectural Design and Development is to provide the leadership and guidance to deliver projects that are an integral part of a company's success.
